1 c pancake mix
2/3 c milk
2 T veg. oil
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c butter
1/3 c packed brown sugar
1 lg. Golden Delicious apple, peeled and sliced
Maple syrup
In a bowl, combine pancake mix, milk, oil and egg. In a 8 inch ovenproof skillet, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar and apple slices, saute until sugar is dissolved. Pour batter over apple mixture . Cook uncovered, over medium heat until bubbles form on top.
Bake uncovered, at 350* for 12-17 minutes. Invert onto a serving platter. Serve with syrup.

Way to go Marva . . . great teaching! I started my kids early too . . . two years olds are usually pretty eager to help out. When the get a little older though, they tend to lose hat eagerness.

This sounds really good! I have not been checking other's blogs the past week with company in our house and really missed checking up on everyone. Glad your FIL is okay. We didn't lose any days of school. We were getting wet, though.
