Has it really been eight years ago?! Do you know where you were? What did you think the first time you heard terrorism? John and I were getting breakfast to go at Burger King in Gardendale headed to Birmingham to see his orthopedic doctor (he had just had knee surgery 6 months prior to September 11th).
We were watching Fox news and could not believe our eyes. All of the death that day brought and sadness. Please say a little prayer when you finish reading this for all of the families of the dead, for the survivors (as their lives will NEVER be the same), all of the military and their families they have left behind to defend our freedom.

I was with Phil, driving to Hastings (South East coast of England) when his cousin rang to tell him....and needless to say, we didn't BELIEVE it.

I can't believe it's been 8 years, so fresh still in our minds...I was at work, and we saw the news come up on yahoo. As much as it affected us, I can't even conceive of how it affected the families and friends of those who were there, both those who died and those who survived.
And since I seem to have lost your email address {{smacks head}} yes, you were right as to which baby was Sugar Plum and which was Sweetpea! ;)
