Garden Tidbits

The garden has been in the ground for awhile now and we are so excited! We also are picking our first variety of plums (MayRipe). We have had squash coming in for almost 3 weeks as well and a few cukes here and there. Today Daddy went over the 660 okra plants and got a mess to fry. It won't be long now!!! How's your garden growing? What do you have coming in?

Sounds delicious! Unfortunately we didn't have anywhere to put a garden this year and I so miss the fresh produce! Hopefully we'll be able to find some that's good at local farmer's markets.
Good to hear from you. Hope things are going well!

Yum! Your okra looks delicious :) We can't wait for our okra to come up around here too. It's Dylan's favorite!

The veggies look great! I love plums as well; can't wait until they're ripe around here!

Oh yum! We were late getting our garden in due to excess rain and a tiller in the shop, not to mention hubby's work schedule. On the upside, our plants were quite happily growing on the porch, so I don't think we are too behind. That said, I think the planting is harder on them when all of a sudden the weather decides to spike to 85 degrees!

We have strawberries, cherries and asparagus to pick each day, and we are so blessed. I'm sorry I've been so bad at checking in on my friends lately, I hope you are doing well. Are your migranes improving with the new meds?

*hugs*
