My best money saving advice is to stay home. If you're at home, you can't spend money. Well, that's not quite true, thanks to the internet.

The best money making tip I have is to shop around. :o)

I always used to do a 'big shop' at one supermarket, and got whatever I needed, no matter on the price, I used to do this on average, once a week. In the UK we cannot take advantage of the fantastic offers you guys get in the US with coupons, so when we hit some financial difficulties last year, I decided to look on websites of various supermarkets to check out the prices. Now I write several lists per week, and I know where to get the best price on whatever I need. Yes, it works out as more time for me, and a little more travelling but I am reaping the rewards in savings.

My best tip for being frugal has been to use cash or a credit card that comes directly from your checking account when paying for items. That way you can only spend what you have!

Use coupons and watch the blogs for the best deals and how to match coupons.

Shopping Dollar General first is one of my favorite tips. I always find great deals on paper products and it saves me a bundle :)

My best general money saving tip is to create a plan and stick to it! Make sure there is a plan for "fun" so it's not too boring. I've always been frugally oriented, but finding deals can be fun and rewarding. :)

My tip would be to shop the drug stores like Riteaid, CVS, and Walgreens for the free items using their rebate programs. Im so stocked up on freebies that my grocery shopping consists of only food saving hundreds of dollars a month. Alot of times I use my stockpile of makeups, lotions, etc for gift baskets or as fillers for gifts.

I wasn't sure if it's too late to leave a comment, but here it is anyway! As for saving money our grocery bill tends to be pretty high since we do alot of natural/organic foods because of our allergies. But I try to do leftovers when I can and lately I've been trying to stretch the groceries by coming up with different/unusual things to fix here at home instead of running out and getting something...even when it seems there's not much left in the cabinets I can usually come up with something!(and it actually ends up being good) As for other things like clothes I try to only shop for what we need and look for sales. :-)

My money saving tip and being frugal is not buying bottle water anymore. I bought a water purifier and I reuse the water bottles I have and use the new filter. 4.88 for the water at sams 4.88 x 4 a month =16.88 x 52 weeks=877.76 and I bought the filter system and it was 100.00 so I save 776.76 this is my fugal tip

My favorite thing to do is to check my weekly grocery ad online, (my store is Dillons.com) and see what the sales are. I then match my coupons at home rather then waste extra time at the store, and I am also able to look up specific internet coupons in conjuction with my weekly ad. In this week's ad, Dillon's is having a sale on Classico pasta sauce ($1.99 per jar), I went to the Classico website and found a coupon for $1.00 off 2 jars, to stack with the Dillon's sale. That makes them $1.50 per jar for sauce that I wouldn't normally buy.
