Easter Menu

We have a large celebration planned this year. We will be going to early service at church and then home to prepare the remaining parts of the Easter lunch. We have family from North Carolina coming and some other family members as well. There should be about 20 of us all total.

That morning for our out of town guests (who are not use to much "homecooking") there will be homemade blueberry pancakes, maple sauasage links and hot coffee.

Lunch will be a spiral ham with orange juice and brown sugar glaze. green beans, cream corn, potato salad, homemade rolls, deviled eggs, apple cake and fresh strawberry pie.

We will feast on leftovers for supper, after a big egg hunt.

What is on your menu for Easter?

Love the new blog look. Its so cute!

I dont have to cook this year.Yippie! Im heading over to my parents with the twins since my hubby is out of town for work. I'll hide the twins Easter baskets for them to find when they wake up then we'll head over to my parents :)Did you see my post on the easter bunny feet? I just posted about it yesterday. I think even though the twins are 12 Im still going to do it. They know I love doing fun stuff like this and they will get a kick out of it.

I like the new look for your blog! Very "springy"! I think we are just having leftovers for Easter dinner. By the time church gets out and we get home, it's 12:30, and the children are ready for naps as soon as we eat lunch. There is no time to fix anything fancier than leftovers or PB&J sandwiches! We'll head back to church for evening church at 6:00, so there is no time there either for cooking.

Happy Easter!

Love the fresh background! It really stands out. Your menu sounds very tasty. We may actually take the kids down to our local dinner tomorrow before church. Then sandwiches for lunch before naps and afterwards we are going to my mother's for a large dinner with family. Jake (almost 3) is more fun this year about the Easter baskets, etc. Enjoy your weekend!! Hope you are feelin better!

We always begin our easter morning with a traditional polish easter breakfast of Polish sausage, rye bread and boiled eggs with horseradish sauce.

Easter dinner will be at my son in laws parents place. We are having a ham dinner with all the traditional Easter fixins.

Your Easter day sounds delightful. May the peace of the resurrected Lord be yours today and always.

Hey, look! Strawberries!

We're traveling to my mother's after mass. I'm not sure what's on the menu besides the deviled eggs that I volunteered to take. The boys colored 6 dozen, so I figured I'd better do something with them while we all still like eggs!

Happy Easter, Dear Marva!
