A Rather Shocking Day

I have been having a few different health issues and they all are rather serious. However, today I went for a CT and I got some rather shocking news...there is a serious problem and ............................I am scheduled for surgery early next week. The doctor asked if I could be prepared for surgery in the morning.........WHAT? That soon? Yes, that soon he replied. Geez! since I could not it will take place next week. I prefer not to discuss the details here on the ole blog though. The surgery will leave me with the wind knocked out of my sails for a week (says the doctor) and full recovery will take 6-8 weeks.

The last time I was fully put under anesthesia was when I had open heart surgery and I would be lying to say that I am not nervous. I AM.......terribly!

I WILL however will still be taking orders and overseeing my little mix business (I have a couple of my regular employees ready for your business)......so please place those orders................we will need the income.......

AS WE RECEIVED MORE SHOCKING NEWS THIS AFTERNOON........ without disclosing too much information for safety reasons..........
John's last regular work day will be Friday......OF THIS WEEK! He technically will still be employed by the same company but there will be no regular work and that means little or no paycheck(s). It is difficult to explain, there are other companies, government agencies and lots of contract information involved.

God will take care of us, all the way around........I know this without a doubt but I am only human........so I am asking for your prayers and comments.......if you have never prayed or commented now is your chance.;)

Thank you all and I hope to see you around soon, when able..........

Blessings!!!!!

Oh goodness, Marva. I hope that everything goes OK with your surgery, and I would also like to wish you a speedy recovery. I will be thinking of you.

That is not good news about your hubby's work. I am sorry to hear that too. I know exactly what it is like at time like this because my hubby's work is the same - seasonal, although to be honest this whole year has been a bit of a nightmare.

Hugs to you!! xo

I know in my own life the saying, "When it rains, it pours." has been scarily accurate at times and it seems this year has been that way for you as well!! I'll be praying that they surgery goes good and you recover quickly. Also that the job issue will work out somehow.
Much love and prayers,
Tyra

So sorry for all this tough news Marva. I'm worried myself about your surgery. I will be making it a definite matter of prayer, as well as the recovery period. I wish I could help in a more physical way.

You're right that God will provide. But also right that we're only human, and it's hard to fully trust and set aside worry. Not exactly a human quality. I will be praying that your husband is able to find a job quickly. Sending many prayers your way~
