CORRECTION ......... WE have not been on an actual vacation in several YEARS. Hubby and I went to Atlanta for the weekend in May (while my parents kept the boys). We were going to take a longer vacation this year but due to my Dad's health we will only be a couple of hours away.
Many of you have this for awhile now.........LOL!!! just kidding. Okay, now to serious matters at hand.
I need your help! We are leaving at 6am tomorrow heading out for the weekend. We have NEVER traveled away from home with the kiddos before (more than a day trip). This will be our first family vacation! Yay to that! However, I need suggestions on what to pack for the kiddos, anything you can think of! Clothes to a potty chair to toys to snacks........anything. Please leave your suggestions in the comments.
Now for the fun, for you. I will be having my fun this weekend with your help of course, but I will be drawing at random from the comments for a prize for you. I will announce the winner on Monday night at 8pm (Central time).

I always make up a special bag of "surprises" for the kids! Each hour of the trip - except when they are sleeping - a special surprise for each is chosen! This helps to pass the time for the kiddos and is much quieter for Mom and Dad.
Make sure to pack things like Children's Tylenol, a potty chair, potty paper, garbage bags - for easy disposal at the gas stations, snacks, tooth brushes and paste, also bottled water!
Wow! I've never been on a vacation or anywhere w/out my kiddos!
I would pack their favorite toys, of course pull ups, jammies, their fave bubble bath and bath toys, some books,their fave dvds if any, and of course a picture of mommy & daddy.

Snacks, favorite toys, and comfort items. I also always pack a few extra changes of clothing for the kiddos, you never know when you are going to need them ;)

I'm sorry I missed your post. We just got back from our first vacation with children, and I would suggest new, fun things for your boys to play with in the car to keep them occupied.
