February 8 Spending

I am terrible at the no spend thing. Really bad! We ordered the above in the picture for the boys birthday next month. That was a chunk! WE had planned for it though. The good thing is that my parents wanted to pay for half. So, thank you Momma and Daddy!

We spent $650 on our part of the play set. We spent $22 on supper out. Got caught out at the park, met with friends and had not planned ahead for that.

That was $672 for today.
$1973.68 for the month.
Blessings!

We are no good at the spending thing either, but I didn't take the challenge yet. We start our Dave Ramsey Financial Peace class Tuesday. I hope it helps us!! That is a really cool play set for the boys. They will love it!

Marva my niece has that same playset for her 3 1/2 children its a great set however putting it together is a chore. My hubby and his brother and our nephew put it together and took a couple days of hard work. However, Lydia, Sarah and Dawson just love it and sure the new baby on the way will love it when he/she gets old enough to enjoy it.

Your 2 will love it for sure

We are looking to get something similar for our children soon, too. They are expensive but worth it. I'm just thinking about the dinky swing set we had when I was a child.

What an AWESOME playset!! Your boys will have SO much fun on that. We're thrifty people in most ways, but we still have a trampoline, above-ground pool, and playset for our kids. We just skip a lot of other things instead. And it's so nice that your parents are pitching in for part of it!

Is it really birthday time again for your boys? It seems like they just had the John Deere birthday a few months ago... how time flies.
