Marva's Brunswick Stew

This is my very own contoction and is very good , although the ingredients don't sound very good together. Children also seem to love it! A plus in my house! LOL!

1 # ground chuck browned (and drained) with one small chopped onion and 1/2 t. garlic salt
2 cans pork n beans
2 cans cream style corn
28 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 c. ketchup
1 - 10 oz. can Ro-Tel (tomatoes w/ green chiles)

Combine all and simmer for 30 minutes. I personally like to put in crockpot and cook on low for a few hours, until needed for supper.

NOTE********* DO NOT drain the cans.

We love this with a hunk of hoop cheese and saltines.

ENJOY!!!

Hoop cheese?

Hoop cheese is red rind cheese, you find in indepedantly owned grocery stores. It is made from milk alone (no cream or salt added). It is firm and kind of sharp tasting. It is difficult to shred. It sells here for about $3.99 per pound. It is yummy!

Blessings!
