Decorating For The Season

I positively love this season! Christmas is wonderful! I love to decorate and usually we put up the tree and decorate the day after Black Friday. This year the Iron Bowl (ROLL TIDE!) came of that particular day and I needed to buy supplies to make mixes this week, so it was postponed.

I hope to maybe get it done today. We shall see. My open house is on Saturday (for my mixes) so it has to be done by then.

I think I am keeping it simple this year. I collect angels as well as nativity scenes, but I think most of it will stay up this year. The boys are into exploring these days (as most 2 1/2 year olds are) and I see it being safer that way! LoL! I also hope to get lights up on the house this year. I think the boys would really enjoy them.

So, is your decorating done? Do you decorate outdoors? When do you usually do your decorating?

Merry Christmas!

We don't do too much decorating, but we do it all when we put up a tree. That'll probably be in two weeks because I'm working next weekend. I do NOT look forward to keeping Daniel who will be ten months old away from it. Ugh!

We have a big snowman that lights that we usually have on our front porch and a little penguin. We used to decorate outside and then every room of the house - even the bathrooms had little trees. The past few years we have chosen not to decorate so much with the curious little boys.

We will put our tree up at the end of the week.

Go right ahead and do the MeMe , , , I took it from another blog, spread the love,

Our place looks like a Hallmark card this morning - the sad thing is that it won't look beautiful long.

I like to do our decorating just after Thanksgiving, but hubs had to work this year, so we will hopefully get things up by the end of next weekend...we do very little decorating outdoors, and we will be keeping things simple inside this year too. I am planning the tree placement behind the superyard, hope that works to keep sweetpea at bay! ;)

Usually I can't stand to have the Christmas stuff up more than 2 weeks, but I was outnumbered this year. The tree is up and decorated and so is the house. I should have done the outside today as we had great weather, but I just plain ran out of time :)

Partly decorated, more to go yet. I'm losing a little bit of my steam though, with homeschool being back in session.

Yes, I remember those days of curious little boys..:)
